Explosive investor enthusiasm for a special dinner with former President Donald Trump has heated up speculative trading, sending the price of a politically themed memecoin soaring nearly 50% in just one day.

According to crypto-focused media outlet Finbold on March 13 (local time), Official Trump (TRUMP) recorded the most remarkable gain among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, staging a dramatic rebound within a single day.

Based on CoinMarketCap data, the price of Official Trump, which had hovered around $2.85 earlier in the day, surged to $4.28 in a burst of buying pressure, showcasing an explosive rally.

This sharp surge rapidly snowballed the token’s market capitalization within hours, serving as a catalyst for its overwhelming presence in the broader digital asset market.

Official Trump’s market capitalization, which stood at $662 million just before the rally, expanded by more than $260 million in less than a day, underscoring the massive speculative demand behind the move.

CoinGecko’s social media analysis indicated that an initial 32.6% spike occurred immediately after news broke that top holders could be invited to a luncheon event at the Mar-a-Lago resort.

Alongside the dramatic price increase, market participation also surged to extraordinary levels, rewriting Official Trump’s trading volume indicators.

Its 24-hour trading volume exploded by more than 740% to surpass $827 million, signaling that new traders had flooded into the market as upward momentum accelerated.

In particular, the volume-to-market-cap ratio climbed to approximately 87%, clearly reflecting the intense short-term speculative sentiment and exceptionally high liquidity turnover commonly seen during memecoin bull runs.
